It is the sense of exhaustion that is the beauty of it all. Two days ago, before going to the dance, I watched the leaves outside our window become a bright red in the setting sun. Everything seemed much clearer in pain and hunger.
Kirin begged us workers to be high at the dance, which was a collaboration of IEM and the biology department. I finally had the guts to go in the circle to dance (although I have no idea how; so I simply shook my body as hard as I could). I probably looked like a total fool, but hopefully looking like a fool on drugs, so that the kids found courage on me to join the circle. Vincent, Ian and Lok performed breaking (they had learned over the semester with the biology department for that purpose) and although they weren't good at it, it was cool. (I now think Ian is not the type for dancing, his movements weren't powerful as was when he was learning Michael Jackson's moves)
The RPG in the afternoon went... interesting. Vincent, Ian and I walked around school and stopped everygroup we saw to play games (in truth, to waste their time). Vincent played dices, Ian played heart attack, and I played ten-point-half. Group two turned out to be an asshole group; there was this extremely cocky highschool kid among them that thinks his rooster hair is the coolest thing ever, combined with his contempt toward us and down right rude manners and attitude, added with his grasp of leadership on the team (Lee Cow was completely worthless; in fact, he even played along with the asshole, like making fun of us three is a fun thing to do), made us seething with hatred when we took off our smiling faces after they left.
Most other groups were fun. Group four stunned the three of us when a moderately cute girl cracked the magic trick I performed on my second performance. I had performed that trick to over ten people, many of them over ten times and they never came close to getting it; Vincent and Ian had given up on their fifth try the night before, and so were just as amazed as I was.
